Today I turn 23, as I get a year older I realized that I hate my job, I have no degree, I don’t have a drivers license or a car, I don’t have my own place, I have little savings, I’m in debt. BUT I have a huge loving family, an annoying yet incredible boyfriend, I have my kids (an independent dog and guinea pig), I have a job, I have two homes who welcome me with open arms, I have savings, I have an education, I have a credit score, I know how to get places via public transportation, and I’m alive. I realized that I can’t look at the negative in my life because that all gets thrown out the window when I start to think of all the blessings that I have. Both my parents are alive, I have two smart and amazing siblings, I have friends who are my ride or die, I have my amazing boyfriend of 6 years. I am loved and cared for. I will count my wins before my loses and be thankful for everything I’ve been through and own.
My life isn’t perfect but it’s mine and I love it.
